Amigurumi pattern for pastel unicorn

Hello Everyone! Today I would like to show you my new pattern for pastel unicorn. From my observations, the amigurumi unicorn is one of the most crocheted patterns. And for good reason! The colorful mane, the golden horn, the rainbow colors! All this makes the unicorn one of the favorite creatures. Therefore, there was nothing left for me but to try my hand at designing this fairy creature. And how did it turn out? See for yourself below 😊

MANE

Mane is made out of strands made as follows: (ch 41, 40 sc in ch, slst)

I made 5 in each of the pastel blue, pastel violet, pastel green, pastel yellow and pastel pink. Sew the strands to the head. There is no special location of any of the strands, however, I tried to sew them around the horn and the ears.

As you can see I have decided to give my unicorn a somewhat smooth look so I glued halves of some strands.

TAIL

Tail is made out of strands made as follows: (ch 31, 30 sc in ch, slst).

I made one in each of the pastel blue, pastel violet, pastel green, pastel yellow and pastel pink. Sew the strands to the back of the body between rounds 23 and 24.

Repeat for the second leg, but do not fasten off.

Continue working the body.

Stuff the arms with fiberfill and continue stuffing as you go. The upper part of the arm should be filled only lightly.
