In recent weeks I have been working almost exclusively with Phildar Phil Cabotine yarn. This is because a few months ago, in a shopping frenzy, I purchased quite a substantial stock of this yarn. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to me, the craft store I used to buy it from no longer distributes this model. Moreover, the cost of buying it from abroad is too high (especially considering the shipping costs!). And that’s how I got stuck with a large stock of Cabotine yarn and no prospect of being able to restock. I don’t like to waste anything (especially yarn), so I decided that I would try to make a few projects out of my stash. Fortunately, I am in possession of three skeins of skin-colored yarn, which makes things somewhat easier. At least for now. So from here came the idea of designing my own doll with curly blonde hair. Do you like the result?
In today’s post I present pattern for making the legs, body, arms and head. In the second part I will show you how to make the doll’s hair.
*I’m really tempted to order new skeins!
